NoteGagatis is a new form of rosselli described by Felix Lorenz and Marco Chiapponni. The description was published late in 2024 in Molluscan Science Volume 6. In the area west of the Southern Zuytdorp Cliffs and to the east of Big Bank is a populated by dwarf rosselli and ketyana. This is northwest of Kalbarri. This form of rosselli we find in the same area as we collect praeclara off the southern Zuytdorp Cliffs.  They are consistently very small with narrow dorsal windows. This specimen is at the larger end of the scale for this form and has the classic small narrow mantle slot. Graded Fine ++ due to a very small scratch to the columnar side of dorsum and nacre pitting can be seen under magnification. The posterior siphon has some small nacre windowing. This specimen was dead collected from purple globe sponge in 78 meters of water west of the Southern Zuytdorp Cliffs during May 2024.
