On our last trip south of Augusta during October 2025 we ran into this kostini happily munching on an orange elkhorn sponge in 138 metres of water.
It is a creamy grey shell with sparse tan specks, gold siphons and a creamy apricot base. A beauty in hand apart from a hint of a fold near the anterior siphon, therefore Graded Fine+++.
