NoteHighly glazed, bulbous morphology, high calloused margins and pink aperture teeth characterize this smaller specimen. The shell shows generous dorsal patterning, characterized by indistinct lacunae, a large dorsal blotch and notable dorsal line. This specimens' cream/pinkish base and the large, thick, wide nude/ivory white lateral walls and margins are desirable characteristics. The modestly colored specimen was captured by Scuba diver at 2-4 meters on sand/rock substrate off Baie de Nazaré, Gulf of Guinea, Gabon in 4/2016. Grade: GEM.
