Super thick hyper-glazed nacre, strongly pigmented and beautifully sculptured umbilia collected from the colder non-Scuba dived deep water. The shell demonstrates a significant size/weight ratio (76.6 grams). The specimen displays a well-balanced dark large burlywood brown dorsal blotch-like veil covering on the mid-dorsum and posterior ramp, The strong lateral wall spotting is complemented by thick calloused margins. The dorsum comes with notable posterior extremity rostration. The shell also displays excellent inflated anatomical form, posterior extremity rostration and is a dark pigmented beauty among hesitata specimens. The Umbila was trawled off Cape Conran, Victoria, Australia at 100 meters in the mid-1990's. The shell show no visible or palpable imperfections. Grade: GEM.
