Gorgeous rare golden specimen with a bright dorsal merigold blotch highlighted by a distinctive dorsal line carved into the ivory/cream white primary body color. The shell displays remarkable deep nacre lustre, modest body inflation, thick margins with modest tuberculation of the thick rounded margins. The aurata shows a perfect sparkling pastel apricot orange/porcelain white base, cantaloupe orange pigmented extremities with moderate lateral wall spotting on both walls. A signature and classic Zoila subspecies from the deep water. Captured by ROV at 105 meters resting in a sponge garden in False Entrance, Shark Bay, off Western Australia in 2019. The shell displays a shallow horizontal crease on the posterior ramp and a repair in the anterior columellar channel tip, not visible in images. Grade: F+++.
