Exemplary quality for this typically rough, deep-water, trawled species, with virtually perfect outer apertural lip, and extremely rare retention of bulbous protoconch. Data: Off Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa; upon sand/mud/detritus substrate; 400-600 m; dredged; 1981. Size: 113.6 mm. Grading: Fine+++; w/o. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
