NoteLarge, attractive and strongly pigmented color deluxe cone from the romantic north French Polynesia. The shell shows a sharp shoulder, beautiful pattern on the perfect spire with classic dark/light lavender and faded blush/violet banding complemented by one complete central band of egg-shell white longitudinal flammules to the ventral and leading body whorl to the lip edge. Flammules are absent on the mid-dorsal. Excellent wide shape and form with an intact protococh, spire, sharp lip and anal notch. Collected by Scuba diver while buried in sand under rocks at 30-40 meters off Ua Huka Island, Marquesas in 3/2025. The specimen shows a mini/ subtle growth crease mid-dorsally at the shoulder and a micro-nick on the lip toward the anal notch. Grade: F+++/GEM minus.
