17.8 mm, w/o
Locality
Isla Toriz, Melaque, Jal; Mexico
Note
RARE SELDOM SEEN DARK EXCELLENT MUSEUM PIECE!! This tiny anachis are hardly seen, most of them are buried and almost impossible to get. Most of the specimens have collected are coming with damage and scars . This here I can presume is totally Gem with Museum conditions and dark black stripes all around between the yellow-white pattern colors. Intact protoconch, thick lip, original museum and intact sculpture. The best of the best for the species. Gem. Found under big stone about 4-5m deep near corals. Isla Toriz, Melaque, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026. Value for this extremely rare special dramatic fully black axial striped pattern, thick lip, shiny and intact seldom seen spire-apex: 14-18 euros. Good luck and happy shelling.
