NoteAn OUTSTANDING specimen of a RARE COLOUR / PATTERN form, of the beautiful and seldom offered FIJIAN form. Luminous rich egg-yolk yellow, decorated with narrow spiral bands of white and caramel markings. Rare locality. Definitely for the Strombidae specialist, or admirer of truly exquisite seashells. Data: Off Naviti, Yasawa Group, Fiji; upon coral sand/rubble substrate, amongst reef; 10 m; dived; 1989. Size: 33.3 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
