NoteROV dead collected from 138 metres of water south of Augusta. A heavy specimen with brown spotting to dorsum and high brown sides. Obvious nacre erosion but otherwise in good condition with perfect siphons. An affordable option of a rare venusta for your collection! Primoidea is a name we have elected to use for a venusta form we find along the edge of the continental shelf along the south west coast. They are mauve tan shells with tan dorsal pattern and often have a distinct mantle line.
