This species are really deep in mud and most of the time are almost impossible to find them, with this type of hair, they can camouflage themselves very easily between deep mud and algae. The periostracum hair is more impressive when they are live , with so elegant longer hair than here. Beautiful, elegant and lovely. Full of hair thick periostracum all around the body. Seldom seen with this intact conditions. Intact lip, siphon and rarely seen perfect apex. For aesthetic collectors. Gem. Found attached between stones about 3m deep. Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026. Value for the most elegant and intact conditions you can get for this amazing species with top periostracum: 20-24 euros.
