Large white marginata collected from a geodia sponge on a granite bommie in 62 metres of water. Found during January 2026 at Warren Reef off Starvation Bay to the west of Esperance. The shell is heavy and mature with well developed siphons. Graded Fine+ due to a healed dorsal indent, small chips to both siphons and a nacre imperfection to the base. This marginata form lives in very turbulent water and gems are extremely rare. Almost all specimens have dorsal grown irregularity.
