NoteA highly attractive, rare, and difficult-to-obtain species, displaying a delicate series of harmoniously arranged brown bands across a lustrous shell surface. The shell exhibits a fully developed peristome, an unequivocal indicator of complete adult maturity, perfectly preserved and enhancing its refined morphology. The aperture reveals a striking violet interior, a highly appreciated feature that immediately captures the attention of the discerning collector. A slight natural abrasion on the lip is present, representing an authentic trace of the specimen’s life history in the wild rather than damage occurring after collection. Such field marks often emphasize the specimen’s genuine provenance and add character for advanced collections that value ecological context. Collected among the leaf litter of a pristine Andean cloud forest at 1650 meters above sea level in Valle del Cauca, this high-elevation origin further increases its exclusivity.
