Note

One very nice and rather large (and tall!) specimen of the endemic Rapa Nui (Easter Island) cowrie Monetaria caputdraconis. This specimen only lives in Rapa Nui and it was procured from local artisans, and it was collected by local people at low tide in tidal pools. Difficult to obtain and a very nice cowrie species. (note that white spots are from reflections)
