Genuinely attractive specimen, a potential morphological form transitioning toward the intermedens form. Superb shell with exquisite markings, China-white base framed with pristine spotting, shows bright nacre gloss and moderate weight (21.5 grams). The shell displays flared margins with strong tuberculation with significant corrugation. The specimen has a lovely base pattern with perfect extremities, margins and base. Scuba diver collected at 40-45 meters off Kalbarri Island, Western Australia in 2002. The specimen presents with a short, mild subnacre glossed transverse crease on the anterior columellar lateral wall. Grade: GEM minus.
