Heavy specimen with excellent coloring, perfect extremities, base and aperture teeth. The shell shows a misty blue gray halo, on the relatively depressed dorsum, unusual for this species. The shell show thick calloused margins, high weight/size ratio and flawless base (31.8 grams). The specimen was collected by free diver off Mactan Island, Cebu, Philippines under a dead coral slab at 2 to 3 meters in the 80s. The specimen shows subtle tuberculation on the thick margins, not considered flaws. Grade: GEM.
