Exquisite, hyper-glazed specimen from the Red Sea northern population. The exusta displays excellent nacre gloss, modest inflation, perfect extremities and base. This specimen displays high dorsal profile with four strong chocolate brown color bands wrapping the dorsum. The shell has excellent form and a deep chocolate brown/black base. The exusta was taken by Scuba diver from under dead coral slabs at the base of a large reef in 11/2008 at 25-30 meters on a night dive. The seashell was located and harvested off Dahlak Island, Eritrea, Red Sea. The specimen has a small glazed inclusion on the anterior ramp and color transition line on the dorsum, not considered a imperfection. Grade: F+++/GEM.
