NoteMagnificent brown-shelled specimen exhibiting a truly spectacular pattern, enhanced by an elegant spiral band encircling the entire whorl with remarkable symmetry. The shell displays a glossy, well-developed outer lip (peristome) of beautiful ivory coloration—an unequivocal sign of full adult maturity—and is preserved in an exceptionally fresh condition, an increasingly scarce quality in today’s market. Collected among leaf litter in a humid forest at 1,500 meters above sea level in April 2025, this specimen originates from a region renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity, yet progressively threatened by logging and deforestation.
