NoteA rare species endemic to the Colombian Andes, specimens of which are increasingly scarce and difficult to obtain due to the extensive loss of the region's original humid and cloud forests. This shell is distinguished by its lower band with alternating black and white coloration, a thick black outer lip that gradually fades to violet, and an attractive overall coloration. It shows signs of natural erosion on its first whorls, revealing a beautiful salmon color. Two elongated, parallel perforations are visible in the images on the fourth and sixth whorls. Collected from leaf litter in a humid forest at 1560 meters above sea level in January 2026. An excellent opportunity for collectors and researchers seeking rare Andean specimens at a competitive starting price. Especially suitable for reference collections, comparative studies, or for those who value the intrinsic scientific and documentary importance of specimens from hard-to-reach high-mountain habitats, rarely represented at international auctions.
