NoteA superb ultra-large specimen of an uncommon PALE COLOUR FORM of the northern Victorian form. Collected during the recent, very limited trawling activity now permitted at the locality. Beautiful subtle colour: ultra-pale fawn dorsal ground, decorated with nebulous sporadic maculae of a similar colour; pure white margins and ventrum. Data: Tasman Sea, off 120 km West of Point Hicks, Gippsland, Victoria, Australia; upon mud/sand substrate; 200-260 m; trawled; 2024. Size: 96.4 mm. Grading: Fine+++. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
