LOTTIIDAE- Notoacmea fascicularis (Menke, 1851). MONSTER ULTRA RARE SIZE WOOOOW!! Probably the biggest ever found (WRS). Virtually the biggest recorded size is 37mm and this is 39.2mm really Huge rare size. Live found with superb dense calcareous and algae attachments all removed after clean. Amazing and excellent lip with superb dense multiple micro stripes all around between , the lip side shows a brown-reddish color between white tiny spots, white color most of the dorsal side. The ventral side displays a bright White color with a kind of ringed outer lip and striking brown dispersed large spot in the middle part making a great effect. Some natural erosion as usual for this very big size not really harming this superb beauty. F++-F+++ Do not miss this amazing and once in a lifetime opportunity to get the biggest Notoacmea fasciculariis ever registered. For advancer collectors. Apparently feeding on the marine soup that comes and goes with the currents, waves and seaweeds attached to the smooth stones, this species lives where the waves break and in the intertidal zone. Really hard to remove from stones without braking them. Found attached to the rocks with green and brown algae at extremely low tide.
