NoteONE OF THE BIGGEST EVER FOUND - MONSTER SIZE WOOOOOOW!! Huge very rare size with 36mm . Extremely hard to get this giant sizes nowadays, a few in really remote areas. This particularly was found in a kind of Islet separated from the coastline. LOTTIIDAE- Lottia stanfordiana (S. S. Berry, 1957). Rare extra giant size for the species. Gorgeous dark deep green coloration between the rich white dominant irregular striped pattern making a great effect, the lip side presents a light brown ringed coloration between. The ventral side exhibits a strong fantastic gloss bluish-green turquoise fresh colors, the lip inner side displays a dreamed vivid green color Changing abruptly to blue which dominate until the middle green spot at the end making a stunning effect. Some minor erosion effect on top as usual for this giant sizes not really harming the beauty. F+++. Apparently feeding on the marine soup that comes and goes with the currents, waves and seaweeds attached to the smooth stones, this species lives where the waves break and in the intertidal zone. Really hard to remove from stones without braking them. Found attached to the rocks with green and brown algae at extremely low tide. Remote Islet separated from the coastline, North from Playa La Calechosa, Bahia de Cuastecomates, Jalisco, Mexico. March 2026.
