A beautiful brown shell displaying a truly spectacular pattern, magnificently enhanced by an elegant band running throughout the entire spire. The outer lip (peristome) is glossy, fully developed, and exhibits an attractive beige coloration — a clear indication of complete adult maturity, a feature becoming increasingly scarce on today’s international market. The specimen presents a small impact perforation on the lateral side of the last whorl, clearly visible in the accompanying image. Recently collected from the leaf litter of a humid forest at 1550 meters above sea level in March 2026, this specimen originates from a region internationally recognized for its extraordinary biodiversity, yet one that is now severely threatened by logging and ongoing deforestation. Material from these habitats is becoming progressively rarer, significantly increasing the exclusivity and long-term desirability of specimens such as this one.
