Size
67.5 mm

Mexico
Note
The UNIQUE PATTERN exhibited by this extraordinary specimen is the most elaborate, perfectly formed, and beautiful I have ever encountered in the species. From the very ‘old days’ of Mexican deep-water trawling. Definitely for the advanced Conidae specialist interested in RARE variants. Data: Off Guaymas, Guaymas Municipality, Sonora, Mexico; upon sand substrate; 80-120 m; trawled; 1977. Size: 67.5 mm. Grading: Fine+++. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
