NoteA superb, ultra-large specimen of this beautiful species, from the ‘old days’ of Sri Lankan availability. Characteristic obtusely angular whorl structure. Golden caramel body whorl; pale lavender early whorls. Now difficult to obtain, coming mainly from old collections. Data: Weligama region, Matara, Western Province, Sri Lanka; in forest, upon tree branch, 1-2 m above ground; 1977. Size: 56.3 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
