F++ Big size specimen with spines preserved (light purplish). Unfortunately it suffered cracks at the labrum (mouth) during trawling but the affected area was carefully reinstate with light glue. The test of this deep water species is thin and easily broken during trawling. Trawled by fishing boat in 150-200m deep, 20 Dec 2007. Although it has defect, but it is difficult to notice with the spines on it. Still a great specimen for urchin collector missing this species in your collection or missing a big one preserved with spines. Starting it at a low price for this specimen to find a good home to rest.
