An exceptional, very large specimen of this endemic north-eastern Australian species, of RARE QUALITY, incorporating a PERFECT apertural lip, and retention of the glassy, bulbous protoconch. No longer freshly collected, and now obtainable only from old collections. Data: Off Toogoom, Fraser Coast Region, Queensland, Australia; upon grey sand substrate, upon intertidal sandflat, at low tide; 1984. Size: 40.3 mm. Grading: Gem.
