Species Name: Talparia talpa (Linnaeus, 1758) Common Name: Talpa Mole Snail / Mole Cowry / Small Barrel Shell Snail Size: 81.6 mm — the average size of this species is only 50–70 mm, so specimens over 80 mm are extremely rare and considered giant-sized. Discovery Location: Pecaron, Situbondo, East Java — this location record is invaluable for local distribution data on the east coast of Java. Condition: Excellent / F+++ — perfectly shiny surface, no scratches, breaks, or damage, pattern and coloration remain pristine. Specimen Features 1. Rarity: Sizes over 80 mm are extremely difficult to obtain; most specimens from Indonesia are only around 40–65 mm. 2. Exceptional Quality: Full shell luster, distinct and neat dark brown and cream color boundaries, perfectly intact teeth in the mouth opening. 3.
