ULTRA RARE HYBRID MASTERPIECE WOOOOW!! Both species are living and sharing the same areas, Conus brunneus are more shallow waters and Conus bartschi are found deeper most. There is the possibility to have Hybrids between both. Here a crazy example and confusing specimen with characteristics of both species. Spire whorls, colors, shape, weight, pattern, granulate structure and nodules around the shoulder are mixed between this beauty. Dark brown background color form C. brunneus, granulate structure with micro banding and spotted pattern, shoulder cords, spire and shape from C. bartschi. Crazy mixed combination for this ultra rare Hybrid or crazy new variation of one of this 2 species. Very rare. For Conus experts and lovers of new-aesthetics beauty's. For advancer collectors. Found buried in thick granulate sand between cracks in stones about 10m deep. Islet near Roca de Toro, Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico. January 2026.
