NoteAn EXCEPTIONAL specimen of the EXQUISITE, and rarely offered small ERITREAN FORM, from a rare locality, exhibiting beautiful colour, in conjunction with a dorsal pattern of high aesthetic merit. Fine dorsal maculae, markedly even in size and distribution, creating a classic 'bird's egg' effect. The ONLY Eritrean example of the JES Collection. Data: Gulf of Zula, off Massawa, Northern Red Sea region, Eritrea; upon reef substrate, under slab, amongst sand/rubble; 3-5 m; dived; 1989. Size: 26.6 mm. Grading: Gem. Provenance: JES Collection; London / Melbourne.
