Note
Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. 2 m depth; volcanic platform, inhabiting caves and spaces between stones; collected by local diver, 2024. Currently regarded as a junior subjective synonym of Luria lurida pulchroides (Alvarado & J. Álvarez, 1964). However, the local form appears consistently distinct in its geographical occurrence, habitat preferences, and markedly reduced adult size, and is therefore retained here under the name L. lurida minima for reference and further taxonomic study. Fully adult at only ~ 20 mm, representing an exceptionally small specimen.
