Note
A representative specimen of the very rare and enigmatic type species of the genus Purpuriconus. Very hard to get in any condition, and even rarer from jamaica, as the few that do come up in the market are most often from Haiti. A good opportunity to add a classic Caribbean rarity to your collection for a cheap price. This one was dead-collected via night diving at 80 ft deep, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. From my personal collection.
