NoteStunning specimen collected from a finger sponge on silty sand with very sparse sessile growth in 115 metres of water. Found in June 2025 west of Thevernard Island. The shell has sparse chocolate and tan spots on a beige dorsum, distinct brown siphon trim and a creamy apricot colored base with matching high creamy sides. I do not anticipate collecting further specimens given how remote the habitat is, the cost and effort of accessing that location and at my age nearing retirement. Graded Fine++ due one silt inclusion to the top of dorsum indicated by a green arrow and a nacre stress line to the columnar side of base.
