Lovely dark live-taken specimen, free from any scars or the stress lines common in this species. Has an unusual dip on the underside, most likely due to trauma to the mantle when shell was still in its juvenile stage, causing the base of the shell to be a little misshapen. Otherwise gem ~ F++. Live taken by diver in small sponge crevice at 10m off Carnac Island, Western Australia
