Rare 'bandless' form that lacks the distinct spiral bands seen in this species, instead being a uniform golden yellow with irregular triangular tents across the shell. This form is much more difficult to acquire than the nominal form, and is only acquirable from old collections now due to the ban on bottom trawling in Australia. Small attempted drill holes in the spire, live taken gem lip and canal ~ F++/+++. Vibrant colours and great pattern.
