Fair condition crabbed specimen, free from any growth scars however has a thin, rough lip ~ F+/++. Very difficult species to acquire today, virtually all of the shallow-water diveable populations of Esperance species have been extremely rare since the heatwaves in the early 2000's. Historically sold at low prices as dwarf specimens of Amoria exoptanda, no specimens are collected today and only a small handful surface from old collection. Crabbed by diver on sand near low-profile limestone reefs at 30-40m, Recherche Archipelago, Esperance, West Australia.
