Great specimen of form kenyoniana which bears strong axial ribs compared to the nominal form which is completely smooth. Difficult form to acquire now, this specimen was taken by a trawler net off Lakes Entrance in Victoria. Fresh dead taken specimen with rich iron stained colour. Free from any growth scars with gem lip and canals, however unfortunately it has some slight nacre loss on the inside of the aperture ~ F++/+++.
