NoteROV Collected from 88 metres of water west of Cape Cuvier, south of Coral Bay in Western Australia during June 2026. Whilst we were collecting aurata in deep water west of Cape Cuvier the current increased to the point we were unable to work. To get away from the current we came inshore and ran across a low patch of sponge reef from which we were able to collect some specimens of a very attractive dwarf jeaniana. This is the first time jeaniana have been collected from this location. In addition we found two superba like ketyana. This is the farthest north we have found ketyana. The shell has a dark densely patterned dorsum, a black base and black spotted cream margins. Dead shell in as alive condition found at the base of a geodia sponge. The shell is pretty well gem other than it is young and light weight. Fine++.
