An EXCEPTIONAL extremely large specimen, of RARE QUALITY for such size. Supremely symmetrical porportions. Spectacular, balanced dorsal pattern, incorporating a large central ‘window’ of mottled dark chestnut and honey. Hypermature, with incredible deposition of shell material, and consequent solidity and weight. In a different league to the majority of specimens. Data: Barr al-Hikman, Al Wusta Governorate, Sultanate of Oman; upon grey sand/mud substrate, amongst seagrass and sponges, at low tide; 2020. Size: 55.2 mm. Grading: Gem.
