NoteSuper rufinistic pigmentation highlighted by thick calloused margins and remarkably solid extremity flanged margins underscore this collectable extraordinary specimen. The shell shows strong nacre gloss with a heavy weight/size ratio, modestly spotted lateral walls, bluish pigmented margins, intact extremities and flawless aperture teeth (53.1 grams). This is an extremely red tinted shell, hard to find them with this bright color. Harvested by Scuba diver at 18 meters on an old shipwreck off Libreville, Gabon, west equatorial Africa in the 70s. The Trona has a thick glossy nacre that covers various algae color spots and older marks on extremities from reef encounters. There is only one mini nacre window on the anterior ramp present. Grade: F+++/GEM.
