NoteA definitively patterned, rostrated and morphologically balanced specimen with a classic tan primary coated dorsum and a sporadic collection of large dorsal spots and various smaller diffuse wispy spotting areas surrounding the dorsum. The shell displays superb nacre gloss, perfect extremities and base. The shell exhibits a respectable size to weight ratio at 37.7 grams. Harvested by Scuba diver near Bouvard Reef, off Cape Bouvard, south of Mandurah, Western Australia at 11 meters on a brown/white sponge. The specimen was located sitting on the underside of a limestone reef ledge in 2/2016. EX: Andrew Edinger. Original hand written data slip from Andrew included. The shell presents with one subtle sub-nacre blemish and labral wall wobble/recess on the labral anterior ramp. Grade: F++/ F+++.
