Beautifully nacred, inflated, humped and uniquely pattered episema. the shell has an almost "golden look" including remarkable deep sandstone/bronze pigmented dorsal spotting with notable and beautifully arranged quasi-transverse banding. The shell exhibits perfect cream/tan extremities with a cream/light tan fringed base. Taken by Scuba diver Andrew Edinger at 10 meters off west Bouvard Reef, off Cape Bouvard, south of Mandurah, Western Australia in 1/2016. The specimen was discovered sitting on the north side of a ridge on a brown/white sponge on the side of a boulder. Original hand written data slip from Andrew included. The shell shows a light growth fold on the posterior ramp and another lessor/insignificant one on the anterior ramp. Grade: F+++.
