Note

Elongate, moderately inflated heavy weight specimen with distinctive rich classy caramel brown lateral walls, margins and extremities highlighting this attractively pigmented specimen. The dorsum shows an interesting/exceptional array of dark brown maculae painted on the antique gray/pastel tan dorsum. The lateral walls show shades of deep dark brown/burnt orange with mixed and impressive spotting combined with a heavy size/weight ratio (75.5 grams). The base exudes various shades of coffee/caramel brown which accentuates the porcelain white labral aperture teeth. The specimen displays a thick glossy nacre and rich brown/black/caramel hued extremities. The striking specimen was taken by a Scuba diver at 24 meters while nestled in a sponge on top of a limestone reef off Binningup Beach, Western Australia in 2018. The shell shows a thick nacre glazed wobble on the anterior columellar ramp. Grade: F+++.
