Superb specimen with an outstanding pattern with excellent form and marginal callousing and spotting. The shell exudes brilliant color and shows an intense reticulated pattern with large light blue/gray striking lacunae. The specimen leans toward heavy (42.9 grams). The specimen exhibits profound large spotting on the lateral walls that flow over the margins lapping into the glossy base. An exceptional collectors choice specimen due to the ultra remote geographical locale. The shell shows a remarkable and distinctive dorsal line with flawless siphons and dorsum. Excellent specimen collected by free diver Edward MacCubbin in the big lagoon at Diego Garcia, Chagos Archipelago, Indian Ocean circa the late 80s. The specimen displays a minor subtle fold mid-dorsum and short folds on the anterior ramp. Grade: F+++.
