A specimen from my personal collection. Obtained in 2020 from an old collection, but despite the fact that it's probably old it is still impressively dark. Canals are perfect even under a microscope. There is a bit of a short indent at the bottom of the posterior slope, at the upper end of the dorsal line, but this doesn't hurt the way the shell displays at all. A couple of the `snowflakes' on the posterior labral flange as per the photos. Otherwise perfect, without any other surface defects, and glossy. Attractive small window and narrow dorsal line. Impressive maturity and weight also. Was tempted to keep this due to the darkness and the beautiful dorsal line, but I still have one Albany shell so this one is getting sold. New owner should be pleased. Canon camera renders it a bit too red, shell is a bit more brown/black than it looks in the photo.
