The real RARE Naria albuginosa var. amygdala a newly described form-variation of the Naria albuginosa. This species have small localized populations and can be found In Clipperton, Cocos Island, Galapagos and Golf of Mexico, but there are some Islands like Revillagigedo in Mexico and Jalisco like this found, but really hard to get. This new subspecies are most larger that N. albuginosa usually exceeding the 25mm and in Mexico between 20-25mm. Shells are with broadly oval, with calloused, broad margins giving the shells a rhomboidal rather than elongated, slender shape. (Chiapponi & Lorenz, 2024). This ultra rare masterpiece here is coming with extreme thick calloused margins making a flat dorsal form due the calloused shape, usual for this variation but rare so calloused and wide. Spectacular dark purple-bluish margins, elongated extremities and superb dark ringed spotted color form.
