GEM. Very rare size now. The biggest alisonae i have ever obtained in 3 decades. Hyper mature specimen with very developed thick marginal callous and thicken canal and base. This species is not rare in Hawaii. I had personally collected this species from Fort Kam reef too. But this size is truly spectacular and with raising sea temperature causing Hawaii cowrie to become smaller in size, this size is now only found from choice old collection. This is the biggest alisonae I have ever handled and kept in my collection for over 3 decades. It is time for this gigantic specimen to find the next good home. Collected alive under large coral slabs in 20 feet deep, June 2001. Low starting price for this rare size.
