NoteLow spire and sharply angled shoulder characterize this Indigenous Hawaiian cone. The shell shows a strong mocha/chocolate brown primary coat with large broad/narrow distorted white tents forming three wide transverse bands on the body whorl. The shell shows excellent gloss. Taken by Scuba diver at 12-15 meters under coral rubble on West Shore, Oahu, Hawaii circa 2015. The shell has soft growth fold ventrally, longer growth fold mid-dorsally and palpable roughness of the lip toward the anal notch. Grade: F++.
