NoteBeautifully pigmented, strongly calloused and colorful edition of this western Atlantic gorgeous species. The specimen provides a two large/dark dorsal blotches, deep grooved teeth at the aperture with faint tubercles above the extremity marginal flanges. Lovely color, high dorsum gloss, produced pastel orange extremities and strong rust/burnt orange pigmentation also highlight this beauty. The specimen was taken in a octopus trap at 20-30 meters depth off Fortaleza, Ceara, Brazil in 10/1992. The specimen shows a soft shallow wobble on the posterior ramp. Grade: F+++/GEM.
