NoteA distinctive mature, elongate and ultra-thick glazed specimen with connoisseur rich caramel hues on the lateral walls and siphons. The specimen exhibits a wide and interrupted, but distinguished, dorsal line. The caramel-based colors accentuate and blend beautifully with dorsal blotching and significant lateral wall and marginal spotting, particularly on the columellar side. The anterior and posterior margins are thick with modest tuberculation. Moderate rostration of both extremities with a super glossy thick nacre. A respectable size/weight ratio shell, a real sleek beauty at 47.5 grams. The shell was Scuba diver harvested from a limestone reef off Carnac Island, Western Australia in deeper water circa 90s. The specimen shows negligible anterior ramp blemishes. Grade: GEM minus.
